PolyParlay Privacy Policy

PolyParlay ("we", "the extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps users build multi-leg parlays from Polymarket markets. This privacy policy explains what data the extension accesses, how it is used, and what is never collected.

What the extension accesses

• Polymarket page URLs and DOM — when you click "Add to slip" on a Polymarket market page, the extension reads the URL slug to identify the market. It does not read any other browsing activity.
• Public Polymarket Gamma API — the extension queries gamma-api.polymarket.com to fetch market metadata (question text, current YES/NO prices, resolution date). This is public on-chain data; no authentication is involved.
• Local browser storage — the parlay slip you build (selected markets and stake amount) is saved in chrome.storage.local on your device only. It is not transmitted to any server.

What we never collect

• Your Polymarket login, password, or session credentials
• Your wallet private keys or seed phrases (PolyParlay never asks for these)
• Your browsing history outside Polymarket
• Personally identifying information (name, address, phone)
• Any data on third-party servers (the free tier has no backend)

Shareable slip links

When you generate a shareable slip link, the slip data (markets, prices, stake) is encoded in the URL hash fragment (e.g., polyparlay.app/slip#<encoded>). The hash is readable to anyone who has the link. The hash is never sent to our servers — by design, URL fragments stay client-side.

Email capture

If you submit your email on polyparlay.app for Pro launch notifications, your email is stored only for that purpose and will not be sold or shared. You can request deletion at any time by emailing the address below.

Future Pro tier data handling

The forthcoming Pro tier will read your public Polymarket wallet address (you provide it; the extension never accesses any wallet). Wallet position data is fetched from public APIs and processed client-side or in our backend solely to provide the features you subscribe to. We will not sell, share, or use this data for any purpose other than the features described.

Permissions explained

• storage — to save your slip on your device
• activeTab — to detect when you're on a Polymarket market page
• host_permissions for Polymarket and Gamma API — to inject the "+ Add to slip" button on Polymarket pages and fetch market data
